How to request the deletion of your study account?
There are several ways to request deletion of your THREAD account. Before proceeding, please read the following carefully.
- Once your account has been closed it cannot be restored
- By closing your THREAD account, you will no longer be able to take part in any live clinical trial studies you are currently part of
- By requesting this deletion THREAD will contact your study site and they will process this request.
In-App Deletion Process
You can delete your THREAD account from with in the THREAD App. If you still have access to your study app, then go to the Profile section and request deletion there as shown below. The deletion requests will be sent to your site, and they will review and process the request and follow up with you directly.
Contacting Your Site
We process personal data or personal information (“Data”) on behalf of our Customers. Our Customers determine the nature and scope of the Data it collects when using our products. The Customer decides how the Data will be used. Our Customers are known as the “Controller” under data protection laws. THREAD is a “Processor” under data protection laws.
To remove your account, please contact your study site directly and they will be able to process this request.
