Introducing inVibe’s New AI Moderator

Summary

Since 2020, inVibe has built and incorporated numerous AI-powered features.

Now, with AI Moderator, we are able to evaluate each participant's response as it's being recorded and ask targeted follow-up questions to ensure that all parts of a question are fully addressed.

In this video, Jeremy Franz walks through a real-time demo of how our AI Moderator reduces the need for post-interview follow-ups and leads to better data quality.

Hi, I'm Jeremy. I lead the product team here at inVibe, and today I want to introduce our newest offering, AI Moderator.

AI Moderator integrates into our existing voice response platform and acts as an interactive validation system that ensures responses are complete and rich in the moment without compromising on our participant experience.

So, by combining unmoderated voice interviews with targeted AI enabled enhancement, we're really able to preserve the scale at which we're able to conduct interviews, the comparability of those interviews themselves, while also allowing participants the comfort of participating on their own time wherever they are at the same time, meaningfully increasing the depth of those interviews and the responses that they provide without introducing a moderator bias.

So, let's get in the demo. We'll be doing this in the browser. We, this is available in our phone methodology, but it's a lot more interesting to have something to look at here. So, we're going to show it here.

This specific study is on Parkinson's disease and it's reviewing and informed consent document for a clinical trial. I won't go into the details too much here, but participants would review this first before starting to answer questions.

We'll go to the first question and play that.

AI Moderator: “Question one. Take a moment to share your overall thoughts regarding the document you just reviewed. What parts of the document stood out most to you and for what reasons?”

So, I thought the document was really long. There was a lot of text, and yeah, generally it's just kind of overwhelming to look at.

AI Moderator: “Thank you. Please wait a moment while we process your response. Can you tell me more about which parts of the document stood out most to you?”

I guess specifically the schedule of events section with, you know, was-- had a really wide table with a lot of columns with some, yeah, just a lot of rows as well. It's just this big table of things that looked like, it looked like just a big giant to do list of things that I would have to do if I were to participate in this study.

AI Moderator: “Thank you. Please wait a moment while we process your response. Okay, let's move on to the next question.”

All right, so that is a moderator. Thanks for watching!
