Real Talk on AI: Quality Over Quantity
Summary
Most of the industry is focused on collecting more data. inVibe made a different, strategic choice: collecting better data.
Our AI Moderator gives participants real-time feedback—helping them go deeper, be more complete, and ultimately produce richer insights. It’s not about asking more questions. It’s about getting better answers.

Hi everyone, I'm Christopher Farina, Director of Listening and Linguistics at inVibe, and welcome to our Real Talk on AI series. Today we're talking about one of the core choices behind our AI Moderator, focusing on data quality.
When we built our AI Moderator, you know, we weren't trying to solve a data collection problem. We already have a method that's easy, comfortable, and scalable, and delivers high-quality data quickly. Instead, we focused on reducing the friction by validating responses in real time, giving participants feedback as they answer and not after the fact, and in turn, giving us better data more quickly.
In our research, respondents tell us that they value immediate feedback, and they go deeper when they're guided in that moment. The same way that you do in traditional interviews where you have a moderator on the other side of the line. So, we built a system that evaluates responses in real time and delivers that feedback instantly without compromising the participant experience. Our system focuses on two things. First, completeness. Did they answer everything? And then second, depth. Did they explain it fully? In less than two seconds, our participants get clear feedback, either confirmation or guidance on how they can improve.
The result, richer, longer responses, powered by the kind of feedback that a human moderator would give in a structured interview, but delivered instantly—new to our platform.
Well, that's it for this time. Leave a comment or reach out to learn more about our approach to AI and how we use it to help us do the work more quickly and at scale. Thanks for watching!
